Display panels at Ilfracombe and Bideford have been designed to give visitors a glimpse of what to expect when travelling to Lundy.
When arriving on Lundy by MS Oldenburg the ship docks alongside the Jetty and the first landmark you will come across is the islands ‘boat shed’ or beach building, here you will find lots of exciting new interpretation which will tell you more about Lundy’s wildlife.
Local artist Mike Langman has designed etched wooden murals of some of Lundy's most familiar inhabitants including lobster & puffin, as well as flying seabirds that are suspended from the ceiling. On the back wall Mike Loates has painted an impressive mural depicting a beautiful coastal and underwater scene.
